This year we didn't head very far to have a great Spring Break. We spent two nights up at Tama Hills which is the Airforce Recreational grounds on the outskirts of Tokyo. I spent many Saturdays there as a kid while running my cross country races so it was all very familiar to me. The kids enjoyed riding the ponies, playing minature golf, learning how to shoot arrows at the archery field, and the boys even got to enjoy 9 rounds of real golf with dad. We had a blast!
One of the days we headed out to Tokyo Disney Sea and got to use our tickets from the earthquake last year to get in for free this year. There were no crowds, no lines, and it was the most beautiful day. We had such a good time and since we had already been there it took the guesswork out of how we wanted to approach all the rides. I think we rode every ride in the park mulitple times by the early afternoon. It was truly a great day and we enjoyed every minute of it.
