Kelsch Family Reunion . Family Photos

We had a blast at the Kelsch Family Reunion this summer. It had been almost 10 years since all my siblings had been together and the first time that all the cousins were together. On Friday we all gathered at the condo in Orem and had a BBQ. Later that day we headed down to Hobblecreek Canyon to get our family pictures taken and then got treated to dinner by Grandma and Grandpa. The next morning Grandpa and John went for a long bike ride while Mike, Jeff, and Greg went golfing. Grandma, Amy and I took the kids up to Thanksgiving Point to explore the Dinosaur Muesum. Everyone had fun building paper airplanes for the wind tunnel, spinning tops, playing with the rotating sand table, playing in the sand room, looking at the dinosaurs, and digging for fossils. Afterwards we headed over to the Provo Recreation Center to swim and go down the waterslides. The kids played in the lazy river, jumped off the ledge, went down the waterslides, and even tried climbing the rock wall that was situated above one of the pools. Abby and Logan had fun running around the smaller water playground and going down the little waterslides. Later that evening we got ready and headed up Provo Canyon for a Kelsch Reunion with everyone on my dad’s side of the family. It was fun seeing so many of my cousins and all of my aunts and uncles. We left a little early so that we could spend time with just our family. On Sunday we drove up to Salt Lake City to see Music and the Spoken Word at the Conference Center. Since Abby and Logan were too young to be in the main auditorium of the Conference center during the filming, Grandma and Grandpa took them to view everything from a special room. It was absolutely amazing to be there listening to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. We had a great time afterwards walking around Temple Square and enjoying the beautiful day. Being together at the temple was a great reminder of how lucky we are to know that we can be together as families forever.
