I love it how Abby loves Cinnamon Life. As I was watching her eat this morning it reminded me of a commercial I remember as a kid where the kid was eating LIFE cereal followed by the comment, "Mikey likes it."

Abby and I drink hot chocolate most days. Today it was funny how she wanted both hot chocolate and a popsicle. Why not. It was definitely worth the capture to see her go back and forth between the two.

Abby always watches her brothers get their haircut and wonders why she can't get hers cut as well. I usually tell her that girls don't need to get their haircut as often. Boy was she surprised when I took her in to get her haircut by Kana today. Kana is the only one I will let touch the girls hair here. She is one of the only ones at the barber that cuts girls hair.

Today was Peter's Cub Scout Blue and Gold dinner. He earned is Webelos Badge and was able to have fun watching his 4th grade teacher put on a magic show. It was fun times for all.

Poor Mike had surgery right before Christmas. He noticed a mass in his lower back and we were in quite a panic as we waited for all the test results to come back. No cancer (thank goodness) but a very serious abscess that needed to be removed and monitored. Poor guy. Two months later Mike was back in the OR for an EGD procedure to try and figure out all the pain he has been having in his abdomen. The tests came back not revealing much of anything. We wish there was something we could do to help him feel better.
