Twice a week Emma goes to FLES (foreign language elementary school) which is her Spanish class. Seniora Batista is such a great teacher and the kids just have so much fun learning basic Spanish and participating in so many activities. On this particular day all the parents were invited to their first Fiesta Dance. While it seems a little weird for her to be studying Spanish while we live in Japan, Emma seems to have a real knack for Espanol and really loves what she is learning. Plus anytime you mix dancing and eating into something, Emma is sold. She is a hoot to watch and has the sweetest smile. Plus, hearing her speak Spanish is super cute. I guess all those episodes of Dora the Explorer paid off in the end.
