One Beautiful Saturday

ON A BEAUTIFUL SATURDAY we enjoyed being outside
riding bikes and walking barefoot on the grass. Emma
discovered the joy of riding (or rather being pushed) on a bike.

EMMA JUST LOVED RIDING on Andrew's bike. She was so
disappointed when her ride was over so she went right up to
Andrew's bike and tried to pick it up herself. What a nut!

PETER was enjoying playing with the STOMP ROCKET.
We would have contests to see who could launch
the rocket the highest. Daddy and Andrew always won!

ANDREW IS THE BIKE MASTER and loves to ride up and down
the sidewalk any chance he can get. One of his favorite things
to do is go on a bike ride to the park. Now that Peter can ride
a bike with training wheels, Andrew has a buddy to ride with.

The Undiscovered Trail

WHAT STARTED OUT as a short Sunday walk
turned into quite an adventure. Here is mom and
Emma before embarking on a new trail leading to the
sandbanks of the beautiful Puget Sound.

WE MADE IT! We traveled down an unbelievable path
guarded on both sides by tall evergreens and a creek running
down below the path. We couldn't believe that we were still
near our little town of Dupont. Who would have thought
there was a path like this so close to where we lived! We
felt like we were in the Olympic Mountains.

EMMA LOVES ROCKS AND WATER!
Just like her brothers, Emma enjoyed
being close to the water and actually
tried to get in a couple of times. She
finally realized throwing rocks in
the water was tons of fun.
BOYS, ROCKS, and WATER! What more could
any boy ask for than rocks and water. Our boys could
literally spend hours throwing rocks in the water.
They had a blast making big splashes with their rocks.

SINGING SONGS on our way home up the big climb!

Peter's 4th Birthday

PETER WANTED A BATMAN BIRTHDAY this year.
His cake, balloons, plates, cups, party favors, and
pinata all sported the batman character. He was so
excited to have his very first birthday party with friends.
HITTING THE BATMAN PINATA and having a
grand old time. What a hit! Dad made all these
funny noises and the kids thought he was hilarious.
THE PERFECT BIKE for this little boy had to be a
Diego bike that mom found which just happened to
be the perfect size for our Peter. He was so excited
to go on a little bike ride around the neighborhood.
He is eager to be able to keep up with his big brother
... maybe when the training wheels come off!

GO DIEGO GO was one of the things Peter wanted
for his birthday this year. Between grandparents
and parents, he is ready to be an animal rescuer.

Easter Sunday

EASTER SUNDAY near the Puget Sound in Steilacoom, WA
as we attempted to get a picture of everyone looking at the camera
and smiling. Of course the bright sun didn't make it any easier...
but who can really complain about sun when we get rain
way too often around here. We usually pass Steilacoom on our
drive home after church because the kids love to see the ferry.
The LOVE between MOM and DAUGHTER is a special thing!

THE BOYS in their new Easter ties and EMMA admiring
one of the dandelions the boys kept picking for mom.
